Matt joined the staff of FBC in March 2012.  Matt, and his wife Courtney, have been married for a little over a year.  Matt recently graduated from Arkansas State University with a degree in Psychology.  He is currently enrolled in the Master's in Christian Studies program at Union University in Jackson, Tn.  Matt has an incredible testimony of God's healing in his life of a childhood disease, as well as God's call on his life.

Matt has a deep desire to be used of God in leading the people of God to His throne in worship.  He is an extremely talented singer and guitarist as well as having the ability to play many other instruments. Matt's vision for the music ministry of FBC involves utilitzing the talents of the people of FBC in the worship services through singing (solos, ensembles, and as a choir) and playing of instruments as God has blessed them.  Matt also intends to involve our children and youth in leading our congregation in worship.
